(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment is reminding the public to protect their property and valuables against would be thieves after a theft was reported at a Highway 3, Middleton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in the early morning hours, unknowns attended SOS Towing and forcibly gained entry into a secured compound located on the property. Once inside, unknowns remove approximately 50 scrap batteries and 5 vehicle rims valued at approximately $675 dollars.
Police are asking any recycling business to contact the Norfolk County OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122 if an unknown individual arrives at their business in an attempt to sell these items.
