(TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH, ON) – On January 27, 2018, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a driver for a Highway Traffic offence, on Wellington Road 32 near Puslinch Lake. Investigation revealed that the driver was operating a vehicle without insurance and the licence plates were unauthorized for the vehicle.
49-year-old Stephen M. RUDD, of Guelph, has been charged with Using Unauthorized Plates and Having No Valid Permit for the vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is also charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance, contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court, on March 7, 2018.
