(NORTH PERTH, ON) – A Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) check resulted in the locating of an impaired driver in the Municipality of North Perth. The driver was stopped by a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North Perth detachment shortly after 2:30 p.m. on March 18, 2019.
Through investigation, it was determined that the driver had consumed alcohol. He failed a road side test and was arrested and transported to the Listowel OPP detachment for further testing.
Darren FULLER, 46-years-old, of the Township of Howick was arrested and charged with;
Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on April 8, 2019 to answer the charges.
