(Ottawa, ON) The Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is presently investigating a collision on Highway 417 eastbound between Pinecrest Road and Woodroffe Avenue.
At approximately 2:00 pm, a vehicle travelling eastbound on Highway 417 blew a tire. As a result, the driver lost control of the vehicle which rolled over off the highway and into a fence.
The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
The collision in under investigation and the OPP is asking anyone who may have any information in relation to this collision to contact the detachment at 613-270-9171.
