(PORT HOPE, ON) –On July 24, 2015 at 1:03pm Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a two car motor vehicle collision on Highway 401 in the westbound lanes between County Road 28 and Toronto Road.
One occupant has succumbed to injuries sustained at this collision and is now deceased. The name of the victim is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
All lanes of Highway 401 westbound have now been re-opened.
Motorists should expect delays while traffic clears up.
