(QUINTE WEST, ON) – The eastbound lanes of the 401 are currently closed from the Highway 30 exit to the County Road 40 exit in Quinte West. The road is closed due to numerous collisions in relation to poor road conditions. Motorists are asked to follow the EDR (Emergency Detour Route). Upon exiting the 401, motorists are to travel north bound on County road 30 then East bound on County road 28. Motorists will then continue South bound on County road 40 back to the 401.
Motorists are asked to adjust their vehicle speeds with the poor road conditions.
