4 Wheeler (ATV) Driver Charged

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Sunday afternoon April 24, 2011 an officer on patrol observed an ATV on Line 81 South West of Listowel. The officer activated all the cruiser emergency equipment and pulled along side the ATV motioning for the driver to stop. The driver however left the roadway and eluded the officer by travelling through ploughed fields and hiding in tree lines.

Shortly thereafter the officer located the ATV and its driver. The driver a 41 year old Municipality of North Perth resident has been charged with “Fail to stop for police”, “Driving while under suspension”, “Operating a motor vehicle without insurance”, and “Drive motor vehicle with no plates”.
