(POINT EDWARD, ON)- On October 2, 2016 at approximately 12:10 a.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were performing general patrol duties when they observed a male cyclist in the area of Front and Lite Streets within the Village of Point Edward.
Investigation revealed that the cyclist was bound by Court Order to obey a curfew. Subsequently, the cyclist was arrested for breaching his curfew condition. As a result of the arrest and subsequent search of the male, the arresting officer located a quantity of suspected narcotics.
Erick COLLINS, 38 years-of-age, of St. Clair Street, Point Edward, Ontario has been charged with allegedly breaching his Court ordered condition and possession of narcotics and held in custody pending a Bail Hearing.
