$350,000 In Stolen Property Recovered – Four Arrested

(PETERBOROUGH COUNTY, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have been working with neighbouring detachment areas in Northumberland County, Quinte West and Bancroft to solve a multijurisdictional theft ring. Earlier this week, 4 people from the Peterborough County area have been arrested.

Stephen Andrew Wayne DUNKLEY (age 32) of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township has been charged with:

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 (19 counts)

Theft of Property over $5000 (22 counts)

Theft of vehicle over $5000 (4 counts)

Break, Enter and Theft over $5000 (2 counts)

Christopher Douglas WATKINS (age 38) of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township has been charged with:

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 (10 counts)

Theft of Property over $5000 (16 counts)

Theft of vehicle over $5000 (3 counts)

Natasha JOHNSON (age 28) of Trent Hills, ON has been charged with:

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000

Jennifer Alisha BRIDGES (age 36) of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township has been charged with:

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 (4 counts)

Police have recovered 3 Pickup trucks, 10 trailers, 5 Boats, 3 All-Terrain Vehicles and 5 snowmobiles valued in excess of $350,000. Similar property items remain outstanding and officers continue to investigate.
