$30,000 Break, Enter and Theft – Brussels

(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating a break, enter and theft that took place at McDonald’s Home Hardware located on Turnberry Street North in Brussels. Sometime between 8:00 p.m. on October 6, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on October 7, 2014 those responsible forced entry into a storage shed located at the back of the property. Once inside, the thieves stole several items including:

An orange 2009 Polaris RZR, 2 seater All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), valued at $16,000
A red 2010 Polaris SE8, All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), valued at $13,000
A John Deere pressure washer valued at $1,000

The value of the stolen goods is estimated to be around $32,000. An additional $1,500 in damage was caused by the thieves when they forced entry into the building.
