CALEDON, ON) – On October 9th, 10th and 11th, a Traffic Officer from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting speed enforcement. Amongst other traffic offence tickets issued, the officer charged one driver each day with Stunt Driving on Mountainview Road.
October 9th – Justin D. REGO, 31, from Severn Township;
October 10th – Christopher Duane Craig JULY, 30, from Brantford;
October 11th -Leonardo Harley DiMatteo, 17, from Mono.
All vehicles were impounded for seven days as a result of the charge.
The drivers are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Caledon at later dates.
Police remind motorists that an essential part of the enforcement job is to save lives and reduce injuries on our roadways. Educating the public about safe driving practices is a priority.
