3 Arrested In Methamphetamine Bust

In July of 2015, the Guelph Police Drug Unit became involved in a Crystal Methamphetamine trafficking investigation in the cities of Guelph and Kitchener/Waterloo. The investigation led to the arrest of three individuals who were involved in a drug transaction at the Food Basics parking lot located at 1405 Ottawa Street North, Kitchener.

A 34-year-old Waterloo female has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of breach of probation and one count of breach of recognizance.

A 32-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with possession of an unauthorized weapon, breach of probation and breach of recognizance.

A 36-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The three are held in custody pending a bail hearing on July 15, 2015.

Subsequent to the arrest a search warrant was executed at a residence located at 121 University Avenue East, Waterloo. Police seized a small quantity of Heroin, Crystal Meth and Crack Cocaine.

While at 121 University Avenue East, Waterloo officers encountered a 25-year-old female wanted on outstanding warrants out of Waterloo Region. She was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
