(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On Wednesday, the 28th day of October 2015 members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Quinte West OPP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road, Quinte West, ON.
As a result, 3 people were arrested and charged:
Marcus THOMPSON, 23 of Quinte West,
Cortney CONNELL, 20 of Quinte West and
A male young person who cannot be named.
They are charged with:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine,
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking –Marihuana,
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Prescription Medication,
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cannabis Resin,
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Psilocybin,
Thompson also being charged with Possession of Property obtained by Crime
Police seized approximately $5500 of drugs, Canadian currency, and cell phones.
All three (3) were released from custody to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville, ON in December 2015.
The Investigation is continuing.
