3 Arrested For Drugs and Weapons

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit along with members of Emergency Response Team (ERT) have arrested and charged a 27-year-old male, 37-year-old male and a 54-year-old male with weapon and drug related offences after executing a search warrant at a Victoria Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at approximately 6:43 p.m., police attended the Victoria Street address and executed a search warrant. During the course of the search warrant, police recovered a loaded hand gun along with a quantity of illicit drugs and Canadian currency.

Charged with the following offences is 27-year-old Cory James DENNIE of Norfolk County, Ontario.

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crack Cocaine

Unauthorized possession of a weapon

Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm

Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order

Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition

Three (3) counts or fail to comply with recognizance

Charged with the following offences is 37-year-old Michael Jameel ALI of Mississauga Ontario.

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crack Cocaine

Possession of Marihuana

Possession of proceeded of property obtained by crime under $5,000

Charged with the following offences is 54-year-old Mark Alan JOHNSTON of Norfolk County, Ontario.

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crack Cocaine

Unauthorized possession of a weapon

Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition

Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm

Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order

All are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
