(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On October 14, 2016 at approximately 7:45 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a guard rail on 14th Street West in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
The lone driver of the 2013 Hyundai vehicle had been drinking alcohol. He was arrested for impaired driving by Owen Sound Police Service and turned over to the OPP upon their arrival at the scene.
Breath tests were conducted, the results of which indicated a blood alcohol content of more than three times the legal limit.
28-year old Justin MALLET, of Owen Sound, was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80 mg.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on October 27, 2016.
