(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On January 15, 2016 at approximately 6:39 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Street Crime Unit (SCU) investigated the driver of a 2014 F150 pick-up truck on Wellington Road 39 near Wellington Road 30 in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
The male driver was found to be in possession of cocaine. Police also seized a digital scale, baggies, a quantity of cash and a cell phone.
27-year-old Joel O’DONNELL of Wellington North Township has been charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on February 12, 2016 to answer to the charge.
