(COLLINGWOOD, ON) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a female motorist with a drinking and driving offence as a result of a vehicle stop on Highway 26.
On the 22nd of November 2015 shortly before 4:00am, an officer on patrols conducted a vehicle stop on Highway 26 and Beachwood Drive in Collingwood. Interactions with the female driver found that she was under the influence of alcohol which led to a roadside breath test which resulted in a ‘fail’ reading. She was arrested and transported to detachment for processing.
Charged is 26 year-old Katie GUNNING of Wasaga Beach, she is facing a charge of care or control over 80 milligrams and is to appear in Collingwood court on the 8th of December 2015.
