$25,000 In Snowmobiles Stolen

(ARMOUR TWP, ON) – The Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating the theft of two motorized snow vehicles (MSV) from a Snowshoe Lane residence.

The thefts occurred sometime between Wednesday February 19, 2016 and Friday February 19, 2016, when unknown person(s) entered the property and stole a 2015 Polaris Indy 800 black and a 2016 Polaris Switchback Pro S Black and red. The approximate value of the two stolen vehicles is $25,000.

OPP would like to remind everyone of the importance to lock all your valuables, which include vehicles. A thief can steal your vehicle in just 30 seconds. A vehicle that is not properly secured or locked is an easy target. To prevent theft, lock the vehicle, pocket the key and park in a well-lit area and never leave valuables in plain sight.

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this theft should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
