$25,000 Hit And Run In Wasaga

(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – Members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are requesting the assistance of the public in locating a motor vehicle and driver involved in a single vehicle collision.

Sometime during the early morning hours of December 22nd 2015, a motor vehicle struck a hydro utility box causing $25 000 in damage. The vehicle and driver failed to remain at the scene on Fernbook Driver in Wasaga Beach.

Police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the driver and locating an older model, possibly 2005 year, Chevrolet Equinox or Pontiac Torrent grey or silver in colour. The suspect vehicle should have damage to driver side rear quarter panel.
