(SAUBLE BEACH, ON) – On May 23, 2016 at 12:53 a.m., a Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a westbound vehicle, a black 2004 Acura, on Main Street near Lakeland Drive, in Sauble Beach.
Upon speaking with the driver, police found the driver to have been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was administered which resulted in a “fail.” The driver was arrested and transported to the Bruce Peninsula OPP Detachment for further testing.
Mohamed Ibrahim ADBULSAMED, age 24, from North York, has been charged with impaired operation of motor vehicle and over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his system. The vehicle has been impounded and his driver’s licence suspended.
He is schedule to appear before the Owen Sound Court of Justice on June 2, 2016 to answer to the charges.
