(LUCKNOW, ON) – On November 29, 2016 at 1:09 p.m., a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol stopped a Green Chevrolet Blazer along Campbell Street in Lucknow. The officer noted that the vehicle licence plate had been reported stolen.
As a result of the investigation, twenty-two-year old Benjamin POYNTON of Huron-Kinloss Township has been charged with 3 counts of possessing stolen property, drive while disqualified and operate vehicle with prohibited weapon. He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing scheduled for November 30, 2016.
