(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On February 11, 2017 at approximately 2:30 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program on Hwy. 6 & 21 (Sunset Strip) in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
A passenger in a 2006 GMC pick-up truck, 29-year old Devon YULE of the Municipality of Meaford was issued a Provincial Offence Notice under the Liquor Licence Act for having an open container of liquor.
A 22-year old driver from South Bruce Peninsula operating a 2011 Dodge pick-up truck was issued a 7-day driver’s licence suspension after a roadside breath test registered in the “warn-range” and police learned that this was the driver’s second “warn-range” suspension.
