(LONDON, ON) – On October 28, 2017, at approximately 1:00 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed what appeared to be an unplated vehicle on Exeter Road, City of London.
Officers determined that the 22-year-old female driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. She was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, Sarah BONDY, of Amherstburg, has been charged with Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) and Improper number plate light pursuant to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
The accused’s vehicle has been seized for 7 days and driver’s licence suspended for 90 days.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on December 4, 2017.
