(TOWNSHIP OF ESSA) – At 7:55pm, Monday, November 21, 2016, members of the Nottawasaga Detachment, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), received information that a 21 year old male person from Angus had been transported to an area hospital as result of an injury sustained from an edged weapon.
The victim remains in hospital in stable condition. Police are investigating this incident as an aggravated assault, and are appealing to anyone who may have information in this regard.
