(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment is investigating a single motor vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 6 near Haldimand Road 70 in Jarvis, Haldimand County, Ontario.
On Saturday September 17, 2016 at approximately 1:35 p.m., OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services and Haldimand County Paramedics responded to Highway 6 and Haldimand Road 70 for a single vehicle roll over where it was reported that the lone occupant, female driver, was trapped inside the vehicle.
OPP investigation, thus far, has determined that a blue 2-door Pontiac GGT was travelling northbound on Highway 6 and rolled onto its roof, trapping the 21-year-old female driver.
The female had to be extricated from the vehicle by Haldimand County Fire Services. She was then transported by ambulance to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
