(Tyendinaga Township, ON)- On February 26, 2016, at 9:25 p.m. officers with the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a two vehicle collision on Harmony Road in Tyendinaga Township.
Police investigation revealed that a grey Hyundai stopped on the side of the road was rear-ended by a grey Toyota.
Three parties in the vehicle that was struck were not injured.
The driver of the Toyota was arrested at the scene for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Facing charges of impaired driving and over .80 mgs is 21 year-old Daniel MCEWEN of Quinte West.
He was released on a Promise to Appear with a first appearance date of March 10, 2016 in Provincial Court in Napanee.
