(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On November 17, 2015 at approximately 10:07 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were alerted to a male at a commercial business in the 3300 block of Dorchester Road.
Officers attended the brown GMC pickup truck, and determined the occupant of the driver’s side of the motor vehicle had been drinking alcohol. A roadside screening device was administered, and the male registered a “fail”. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for further breath testing.
As a result of the police investigation, 21 year old Kyle LAFLECHE, from Thames Centre, Ontario, has been charged with care or control while impaired (alcohol), contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charge in a London court on January 7, 2016.
