21 Year Old Caught Going 143 in a 90 – Vehicle Impounded

(LAMBTON, ON) – On Tuesday January 17th, 2017 the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting mobile RADAR enforcement on Plank Road, City of Sarnia.

At just before 9:00 p.m., a member of the Lambton OPP observed a westbound motor vehicle traveling at a rate of speed greater than the posted speed limit of 90 kilometres per hour. The officer activated the RADAR unit which confirmed a vehicle speed of 143 kilometres per hour. The vehicle was stopped and as a result 21 year old Chase Michael James MILLER of London, ON was charged with:

Race Motor Vehicle – Excessive Speed

Driving While Under Suspension

The motor vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days.

The accused will appear in the Sarnia Ontario Court of Justice on Friday March 10th, 2017.
