2003 GMC Denali Sport Utility Vehicle Stolen

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment received a report of a stolen vehicle from a Fairview Drive, Waterford, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Thursday, June 9, 2016 at approximately 5:07 a.m., police received a call from a concerned resident reporting the theft of a vehicle.

Through the course of investigation, it was determined that on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at approximately 5:05 a.m., an alert neighbour was awoken from their sleep as a result of hearing banging sounds outside their residence. When they looked outside they observed a small dark coloured Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) with dark tinted windows.

They then observed their neighbours vehicle exit the driveway and leave the area at a high rate of speed with the other vehicle following.

The stolen vehicle is described as a white coloured, 2003 GMC Denali Sport Utility Vehicle.

Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
