(TECUMSEH, ON) – On August 26, 2016 at approximately 11:50 p.m. members of the Tecumseh Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a man sleeping in a vehicle in the rear parking lot of the Petro Canada Gas Bar on Manning Road in the Municipality of Tecumseh, Ontario.
Police attended and found the lone occupant of a black Dodge pickup truck asleep behind the wheel of the running vehicle which was still in gear.
The driver exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene.
John GEORGE, age 20 of Lakeshore, Ontario has been charged with Care and Control While Ability Impaired by Alcohol and Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content and will appear in a Windsor Courtroom on September 6, 2016.
