(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On February 8, 2016 at approximately 12:16 p.m., a Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer charged a driver with stunt driving after observing a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck skidding sideways and spinning its tires through the intersection of Hwy. 6 & 21 (Springmount) in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
20-year old Mitchell GIRDLER of South Bruce Peninsula was issued a Summons for stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act. His licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
He is scheduled to appear in court on March 7, 2016 in Owen Sound.
