(HURON EAST, ON) – A traffic stop near Seaforth on April 3, 2015 has led to a possession charge against a young male from Huron East. At approximately 12:30 a.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a Chevrolet pickup on Huron Road near Harpurhey Road. Upon speaking with the driver and passenger in the vehicle officers detected the odour of marihuana. Upon further questioning the passenger in the vehicle handed over a quantity of marihuana to the investigating officer.
He was placed under arrest for possession of marihuana and was later released on an appearance notice.
20 year old Brandon HOLTHUYSEN from Huron East has been charged with Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana. He has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for May 11, 2015 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich
