(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On October 12, 2016 at approximately 9:48 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officers were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Townline Road and Gore Road, Puslinch Township.
A 2005 Honda entered the R.I.D.E. program and Officers spoke with a male driver. Suspected marihuana was detected in the car and was seized by Police. An arrest was made and he was released at the scene with court documents.
20-year-old Jordan PEREIRA of Cambridge is charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 18, 2016.
