(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On July 15, 2016 at approximately 7:22 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an injured male after he had fallen from the roof of a mobile skid steer on Southgate Sideroad 13 in the Township of Southgate.
The CAT skid steer was travelling northbound on Southgate Sideroad 13, north of Southgate Road 24 when it came to a sudden stop; ejecting the victim who was sitting on top of the vehicle.
The 20-year old male, from the Township of Southgate, was air-lifted to a London hospital after sustaining serious injuries.
The driver, a 28-year old Township of Southgate man, was not injured.
The OPP West Regional Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene.
The investigation continues.
