(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment received a report of a stolen vehicle from a Geoffrey Road, Port Dover, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at approximately 1:45 a.m., police received a call from a concerned resident reporting the theft of a vehicle.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at approximately 1:00 a.m., unknowns attended the address and removed a pickup truck that was parked in the driveway of the residence.
The homeowner heard the vehicle start and looked out the window only to see the truck leaving the area at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle is described as a black coloured, 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with an aftermarket scoop sport hood, after market exhaust, 26 inch rims and tires with a black hard top tonneau cover.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
