During the evening of May 22nd, police were called to the intersection of Charles and Remington Streets in Wingham regarding a vehicle that was stopped in the middle of the intersection. Police discovered a 19 year old man had fallen asleep behind the wheel. The odour of alcohol was detected and a roadside test was administered. The man failed the roadside test and was read the breath demand. He was taken to the Goderich OPP where he provided two samples of his breath. Owen Mitchell of Wingham if charged with care and control of a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millitres of his blood.
