(KINGSVILLE, ON)— The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Kingsville responded to a crash on December 31, 2015 at approximately 11:20 hours on Heritage Road in Kingsville.
Officers arrived and found a red Dodge Dart on the front lawn of a residence in the 1000 block of Heritage Road. The vehicle was facing westbound on the north side of the road and had struck two hydro poles. No one was injured in the crash.
The driver of the vehicle exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene.
Keegan DENIS, age 19 of Amherstburg, was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle. He will appear in a Windsor court on January 26, 2016 to answer to the charges.
Police are looking for a witness to the crash. At approximately 11:18 p.m. on December 31, 2015, a white Mazda 3 hatchback was driving eastbound on Essex County Road 50 and may have witnessed the crash. Police are asking that person to contact Provincial Constable Brad Gagnier at 519-326-2544.
