(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 19 year old male with two (2) firearm charges at a Berwick Street, Caledonia, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Thursday November 19th, 2015 at approximately 12:55am, Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the town of Caledonia.
As a result of investigation, Officers located the vehicle, and spoke with the driver. An investigation was commenced, in which a firearm and ammunition was located and seized.
As a result the driver identified as 19 year old Ryan PUNKARI of Walden, ON has been charged with Careless storage of a firearm, and Occupant of Motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
