(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Sunday January 05, 2014 shortly before 10 a.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a two vehicle collision on Perth Line 72 in the curve east of Donegal.
Investigation indicated that a GMC Sierra pickup truck was travelling west bound when the driver lost control and entered onto the east bound lane striking an eastbound Dodge Ram pickup truck. The Dodge left the roadway, rolling into the north ditch where it came to rest on the driver’s side. The North Perth Fire Department extricated the 54 year old male driver, a Guelph resident from the Dodge pickup truck. This driver sustained minimal injuries and was not transported to hospital.
The uninjured male driver of the GMC Sierra pickup truck, a 19 year old Township of Perth East resident, has been charged with “careless drivingâ€Â.
