(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) On February 1, 2013 at about 2:23pm a County of Wellington OPP officer was conducting radar enforcement on First Line near Spencer Drive in Centre Wellington Township. The officer observed a 2000 GMC pickup truck travelling well above the posted speed limit. Police clocked the vehicle on radar at 119k/h in a 60km/h zone.
Cody Gray, age 19 of Fergus has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. His driver’s licence has been suspended and vehicle seized for a period of 7 days as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on March 20, 2013 to answer to the charge.
