(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) – On March 12, 2016, at approximately 12:18 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed northbound on Richmond Street, near Roman Line.
The vehicle, a red Dodge car, was measured to be travelling in excess of 50 kilometers per hour (km/hr) over the 80 km/hr speed limit. A traffic stop was conducted.
As a result of the police investigation, a 19-year-old male from Lucan Biddulph, Ontario, was charged with race a motor vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA). The vehicle was seized, and his driver’s licence was suspended.
