(GUELPH, ON) – On December 1, 2016 at approximately 8:35 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 6 near Laird Road, Guelph. A man driving a 2014 Honda was observed at a speed well above the posted speed limit and was locked on radar at approximately 134 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
19-year-old Rajvir BHODAY of Brampton has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Court on January 4, 2017. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
