19 Year Old Caught Doing 111 in a 50

(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On January 20, 2015 at approximately 1:45 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was conducting moving radar and monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 36 near Queen Street in Puslinch Township. A male driving a 2005 Mazda was observed travelling well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar travelling west bound at 111 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.

Andrew Cote age 19 of Norfolk County has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on March 4, 2015 to answer the charge.
