(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On October 12, 2016 at approximately 8:14 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 2000 Honda Civic that had been travelling more than 50 km/h over the 80 km/h posted speed limit southbound on Hwy. 10 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
While speaking with the lone driver, the officer observed marihuana and drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle.
18-year old Cory Edward SUMMERS, of the Township of Chatsworth, was charged with possession of marihuana – under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act; person under 19 have liquor contrary to the Liquor Licence Act; and race motor vehicle – excessive speed contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
He is scheduled to appear in court on November 10, 2016 in Owen Sound.
