18 Year Old Charged With Flight From Police

(ROCKLAND, ON) – The Russell County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Rockland man with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle offences after the suspect vehicle fled from police in the City of Clarence-Rockland.

Shortly after 2:00 pm on January 23th, Provincial Constable William Daigle observed a vehicle driving with no plate on Charlebois Street, in Clarence. The Officer activated the emergency lights and siren to pull over the vehicle and the suspect vehicle accelerated through a stop sign. The vehicle stopped in a private drive way and the male driver was arrested.

Miguel Couturier-Bernard, age 18 of Rockland was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from Police.
