(NAPANEE, ON)- On Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 8:55 a.m. an officer with the OPP Highway Safety Division was conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 401 in Tyendinaga Township.
The officer noticed a 2015 white BMW overtake his police vehicle at an extremely high rate of speed. The officer was able to get the vehicle stopped approximately 2 kilometres down the highway.
The driver of the vehicle, 18 year-old Renbin BEI of Richmond Hill, was charged with stunt driving (208 km/h). His vehicle was seized for 7 days and his driver’s licence was suspended for 7 days.
He was issued a summons to appear in Provincial Court in Napanee on December 17.
