(TOWN of ERIN, ON) – On Monday August 21, 2017 at approximately 6:30 p.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Trafalgar Road North, near Ballinafad. The officer observed a male driving a 2006 Mazda 6 at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at 136 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
18-year-old Brandon Paul HOLMES of Ballinafad has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on October 4, 2017.Her driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
