(COLLINGWOOD, ON) – On Saturday April 30, 2016 at approximately 5:27 p.m. members of the Collingwood Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Georgian Ambulance responded to a serious single motor vehicle collision.
A Dodge Dakota pick-up truck was travelling eastbound on Silver Creek Drive in Collingwood, ON when an 18 year old female fell from the rear cargo part of the truck. The female was transported to a local hospital and then later transported by Ornge air ambulance to Toronto area hospital with life threatening injuries.
The OPP’s Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
