(LEAMINGTON, ON) — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leamington was called to attend a residence on Emerson Avenue in Leamington on April 6, 2016 at approximately 3:30 a.m. for a report of a fire.
The fire was deemed suspicious and the Ontario Fire Marshall (OFM) was called to investigate along with the Essex County OPP Crime Unit.
As a result of the investigation, two males were arrested and charged. Both were taken for a bail hearing and currently remain in custody.
Travis DESROSIERS, age 20 and Brandon SHEEHEY, age 18, both of Leamington were each charged with Arson—Disregard for Human Life and Arson—Damage to Property.
