(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Thursday evening June 16, 2011 Perth County OPP officers were called to an address on Kent St. in Mitchell where a young male had pulled a knife on another youth.
Investigation revealed that an earlier argument had culminated into the knife being used. The knife wielding youth was arrested for; assault with a weapon, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and with two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking or recognizance. The male, a 17 year old West Perth resident is in custody and is scheduled to attend a bail hearing in Stratford court on Friday June 17. 2011.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
